Digital transformation that stops you paying people to do work a system should do.
We find the manual, repetitive jobs costing your team hours every week and fix them in small stages.
What is digital transformation for a small business?
Digital transformation for a small business means replacing manual, repetitive work with systems that do it automatically, one process at a time, not an 18-month rebuild. FusionRed maps how a job actually gets done today, replaces the steps that waste time in short stages, and reports back the hours saved so you can see whether it worked.
- Approach
- Short stages, measured before and after
- Starting point
- Your most time-consuming process
What's included
Process review and mapping
We sit with the people doing the work and write down every step of how a job really gets done, not how the manual says it should. That's where the wasted hours show up.
Workflow automation
Jobs, approvals and reminders that move themselves along, so nothing waits in an inbox and nobody has to chase it.
Replacing paper forms and spreadsheets
Job sheets, timesheets, checklists and sign-offs move to simple digital forms your team fills in on a phone or laptop, with the information landing where it needs to go.
Connecting systems that don't talk
We link your quoting, accounting, job management and customer systems so information flows between them instead of being typed in twice, which is where most errors start.
Staged rollout and change support
One process at a time, with training and a settling-in period before we move to the next. Your team is never left to work out a new way of doing things on their own.
Measuring the time actually saved
We time the process before and after, then report the hours returned to your team and the errors removed, in plain numbers you can check.
Cybersecurity built in from the start
New systems and connections are set up securely, with the right people getting access to the right information, so modernising doesn't quietly open a door.
It works on its own, or as part of one advisory programme.
Digital Transformation sits inside FusionStrategy, our technology planning and advisory programme. Take it on its own to fix a process that's costing you now, or as part of FusionStrategy so every change lines up with your growth plans.
Common questions
No. We work in small stages, usually a few weeks each, starting with the one process that is costing your team the most time. You see the benefit from the first stage, and you decide whether to keep going. Nothing gets ripped out and replaced for the sake of it.
Usually not. Most of the time the software is fine, it just isn't set up well or isn't talking to your other systems, so people copy information between them by hand. We fix that first. Replacing a system is a last resort, not a starting point.
We measure the process before we change it, so we know how long it takes and how often it goes wrong. After the change we measure it again and show you the difference in hours and in errors. If a stage doesn't pay for itself, we say so.
One process fixed is not a transformation.
The value only compounds if you keep going, in order of what costs the most hours.
Quarterly FusionSecure Pulse Check
We measure the hours saved so far and pick the next process on that evidence.
Monthly FusionCare sessions
A working session on whatever is slowing the team down this month.
Technology roadmapping
The remaining processes sequenced so you are never mid-change everywhere at once.
